44 degrees F at 5:20 a.m.: Big bright magnificent MOON this morning. It looked full, but I’ll have to check on that.* It was high over the western horizon and got lower as I walked. Heard a dog bark at about 5:40 a.m. Buffy’s ROOSTER crowed right then too. Home at 5:50 a.m. with the MOON on my mind.

I went to the U.S. Naval Observatory’s Sunrise/Sunset/Moon Phase page to see when the moon was or is going to be full: They say 23 September 2010 at 5:18 a.m., so my morning MOON was just two minutes beyond full when I first saw it!
