It’s Labor Day AND my 69th birthday. Bob and I spend the day poking around Alburg and Isle La Motte. It was a windy day at Alburg Dunes State Park, but we enjoyed talking to the Park Manager, who was all alone there on the last day of the season. We visited both of the famous quarries on Isle La Motte. I’d like to go back to the second one again with a MAP in hand. We had lunch in North Hero at Hero’s Welcome, which was very busy. It was nice to spend some quality time with Bob away from home.

When we got home, I found a note from my house cleaner, who had come by to clean this morning. He said he had found a mouse in the kitchen trap and emptied it outdoors.
