It’s been a long time since I’ve walked in my own woods. They have greened up with the spring weather. While I was wandering in my woods, I decided to hike down to the Observation Pool. I saw a SPOTTED SALAMANDER on my way. The river is full and fresh. It’s audible where it comes down through the rocks above the Observation Pool. The BEAVERS are still trying to dam up the end of the pipe that’s draining water out of their pond. I wish they’d pack the other end with mud. We went over to Shelburne Pond today and ran into Hub Vogelmann.
