Bob and I saw a FOX SPARROW from the bedroom window. It was kicking around in the front yard. It kicks backward with both feet at once.

Two FOX SPARROWS were feeding with a flock of juncos and sparrows in the front yard this morning. Bob spotted them from the bedroom, and I got a good look at one from the kitchen window: rusty-colored, streaked breast and sides, blotches at center of breast and under shoulders, big and fat looking, top of head grayish brown and rust, tail rust-colored, grayish lines above eyes, grayish on the upper shoulders, kicks seeds backward with both feet.
